1When is the appropriate time to visit a dermatologist?

You may visit the dermatologist any time; however, it is essential that you see one when you suspect that you may have a skin problem/condition.

2Can pregnant women visit the dermatologist?

Yes. During pregnancy, skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, pigmentation and unwanted hair growth may occur, which may be irritating and frustrating for pregnant women. The dermatologist will help determine the best treatment.

3How do I make an appointment with Dr Zinzi Limba?
4What payment methods are available?

This is a cash consultation practice @R900-00 for a physical consultation and R800-00 for a video consultation (Telemedicine DrDerma) payable on the day of consultation. For all payments done, a cash invoice and or proof of payment document is generated for your medical aid, insurance claim or other records. Kindly contact the above address or telephone number for further queries in this regard. There is an online payment system for convenience.

5Do I need a referral for a dermatology appointment?

We do advise a referral letter, particularly for your medical aid or insurance records. Otherwise, self-referrals are welcomed.

6Skin Cancer screening: I have multiple moles and no family history of skin cancer, nor have I had skin cancer. What should be my skincare routine:
7I am pregnant and have an Acne flare-up. What products are safe to use as I have limited use of prescribed medicines in my pregnancy status?

Contact your Dermatologist for the grading of the acne and a safe pregnancy profile treatment plan offered.

8I have stubborn blemishes and scarring on my face. What should I do?

Contact your Dermatologist for the grading of the blemishes and classification of the scars (atrophic, hypertrophic or keloid) and a suitable treatment plan is offered.
